Please Note:
The RACV Energy Breakthrough site is alcohol free.
One
great facet of the Energy Breakthrough is the camping - schools living
and co-existing together throughout the weekend.
Participating teams stay within the event site - their entry fees cover
the camp site fee and teams are required to provide their own camping
equipment and food.
If you're not with a team, contact the Central
Goldfields Shire Visitor Information Centre on 03 5460 4511 or
the Maryborough Caravan Park on 03 5460 4848.
While teams often cater for their own meals, a range of snack foods
will be available on site at reasonable prices from Friday to Sunday. The
camping areas for most teams are inside the race circuits - just follow
the camping and parking co-ordinators for instructions upon arrival.
Camp sites will be designated based upon category and number of vehicles
entered in the event and further details will be provided in the Event
Handbook which will be mailed out to Team Managers in late October.
Site
facilities provided include:
•
Toilets
•
Showers
•
Water
•
Power (for
lighting only).
Primary Schools wishing to camp in the Maryborough Caravan Park must
make their own booking arrangements.
PLEASE NOTE:
Only 12 students and two adults per team will be covered by the ENERGY
BREAKTHROUGH entry fee for three (3) nights. Additional campers must be
paid for directly to the Maryborough Caravan Park.
