Volunteer your time

The RACV Energy Breakthrough simply wouldn't happen without the army of volunteers giving their time and energy!

We need people with muscles who can help us set up, people who can plan or administrate, people who can marshal, people who have 'people skills' and people who love to entertain.

Whilst age is no barrier we'd love to see new young people become more involved in planning and administration of the event. Of course, that's not to say that we will turn away willing helpers!

Students and their teachers have been telling us consistently for years that this is one of the most exciting, challenging and rewarding projects they've ever undertaken.

The RACV Energy Breakthrough is open to all school students - from Primary through to Year 12. With the help of parents, teachers and local industry groups you could:

• Design, build and race a human powered vehicle,
• Create an environmentally efficient hybrid powered vehicle,
• Test yourself with a pushcart, or
• Get crafty in our Innovations In Technology tests.

Remember a team can be made up of current students from a range of different schools. A scout group, church or community organisation may enter a team and have a go too!
